Playing Indoors

Because of all the snow and frigid temperatures, here's a few pictures from playing inside.

The title on his pajamas this particular night was more than accurate! See the milk droplets, and the wet sleeves? I asked him to stop grabbing for his cup without a lid, more than once in a 20 second period. Lesson learned. Not by him, by me.

Practicing his "Handy Manny" fix it capabilities.

We love playing with Emma. Probably the funniest part about these two is that they both tell me when they need a break from each other. Emma will go into the laundry room with books and toys and shut the door. Jaxen will just yell at her, no matter what she does, but he is learning how to actually tell her, with words. Then, after a little break, they play better together than they did before the break. I remember doing this as a child, too. Heck, I still do it. But to Jaron more than anyone. Sometimes you just need a break. He does it to me, too!

Cute Emma Memma.

Silly, Jaxen! Wearing mom's hat and "shobeling" in the house!

The next picture is a flashback to last year.

Last year the hat fit under his chin, well.

And this year, it's a bit more of a stretch to make it close.
But that smile is just as sweet as ever!

  1. Wow-you got a lotta snow! jaxen is looking so much older, just in the last few months since we've seen him! Looks like you're staying very busy. Love you!
