Party Time!!

Balloons, cake, presents, how much can one person really blog about a birthday? Lots, and especially if it's their first kid. Below are the much anticipated (by me) photos my brother took. Love em'.

We chose an Elmo themed party because the one time he watched Elmo ever, it was love at first sight. It also helped that earlier in the month Grandma Nancy & Grandpa Ron gave Jaxen an Elmo that talks for his birthday. Needless to say, the Elmo Pinata was perfect!



Jaxen and I tried so hard to open Elmo, but we couldn't do it alone so we called in reinforcements. Their old pro's at getting candy out of anything, Emma and Carson helped us out.



Who said books are just for reading? HA!



Jaxen makes this face, and "Ohhh's" when he really likes something. He really liked that this puppy talked.

Yep, he threw it up! And all on his own, just made it come up. Apparently Jaron wants in on the action since he doesn't appear to be moving. And, just for the record, the cake was delicious, Jaxen just didn't feel good. Gross, I know, but a GREAT memory!
